As your medical recruitment agent, we provide you with all of the advice and support you need free of charge.
We do charge a placement fee to medical centres when we fill positions.

If you submit your CV to us it will be reviewed by one of our recruitment specialists. Following that, it will be securely stored until needed as part of an application process.

There are strict CV layouts required during the process to gain medical registration in Australia. We recommend formatting your CV to fit the ACRRM CV Template. You can find the template here. To complete the template you will need information relating to:

• Qualifications
• Training
• All International medical board registrations you have held
• Work History
• Residency/Citizen status

Some job positions will include relocation assistance or a sign on bonus which can be used for relocation. This is something that is usually negotiated and will differ from practice to practice.

DPA stands for Distribution Priority Area. All International Medical Graduates must work in a priority area until completing their 10 year moratorium.

The PEP is a Practice Experience Program which helps GPs work towards their Fellowship. On the program GPs with General Registration can access A1 or VR Medicare Rebates, thereby increasing their income potential.

Permanent residency can make it harder for IMGs to find suitable positions in General Practice because you will be restricted by the Department of Health. This restriction lasts until you gain your Fellowship and specialist registration. It requires that you join a 3GA program to work towards obtaining Fellowship. The old Rural Locum Relief Program (RLRP) was a 3GA program which has recently been replaced with the ‘More Doctors for Rural Australia Program (MDRAP).

There are several Australian working VISAs for doctors. Which can make it easier to gain than other professions. It is still a lengthy process and most doctors need a job offer and their medical registration before they can proceed with a VISA application.
